Q&A: Is it okay for my cat to eat yogurt?

Question by : Is it okay for my cat to eat yogurt?
She is an 8 month old kitten and whenever there is yogurt being eaten anywhere in the house she finds it and she will eat it, no matter which flavor. Is it safe for her? I have raised her from a month old and don’t want her to get hurt…

Yes. It’s okay for your cat to eat yogurt, but he/she might have stomach upset later. I’m 18 and I’ve had a cat since I was 10.

Yes, yogurt is safe. It is actually beneficial. The friendly bacteria in it is great for the digestive tract of your furry friend.

Of course she can eat yogurt. Its very healthy for cat to drink yogurt, better than milk. Very important for young cats is: give her some medicine against parasite ( worms in colon). Ask your vet which drug cat can use, depend of weight. Give her one tablet, and after 15 day give her one more again.

Yes, as far as I know, you should be okay in moderation, but be careful about what flavor. To much of a flavor like chocolate or grape could seriously harm her. Look for a list of food that cats CAN NOT eat, and you should be good!
