My adult cat sounds like a kitten all of the sudden and I don’t know why?!?

Question by rz: My adult cat sounds like a kitten all of the sudden and I don’t know why?!?
I have a 7 years old spade cat that when outside aboutt 1.5 hrs ago, ate grass and threw up. She has a real kitten like cry all of the sudden. Should I be worried? She had her dry food this morning along with some organic milk from my cereal.

She’s sick or hurting. Also, just so you’re aware, milk isn’t good for adult cats ( or really even kittens, for that matter)- even organic. She sounds like she’s got a very upset tummy. Let her eat all the grass she wants. She should be okay soon. Make sure she’s drinking plenty of water so she doesn’t get dehydrated. Good luck!

  1. brutusmom says:

Had the grass she ate been fertilized or had pesticide put on it lately? If so, she may have poisoned herself!!

If she’s not better in awhile, Call your vet and explain what happened, when it happened, and what she’s doing. See what the vet says………he may want to see her, to give her something for her tummy! VET meds, NOT “people” meds!!

PeptoBismul and Kaopectate, etc are toxic to cats!!

    Good luck.
