Feral Hunting Sisters

I found a little dead bird on the patio.
Before I had the chance to remove it, I saw that someone had moved it next to the feeding dish.
I know Ruben loves me. Hermommy may secretly love me, but she still doesn’t let me near her.
Still….I can’t imagine that either of them would bring me a gift. I think the poor little bird was just a new toy for the sisters.
Why do the birds insist on making their nests here???
These girls are ruthless hunters.

Our youngest cat, Monkey. Monkey arrived just before Xmas a few years ago and hid in the shrubs outside our front door & screamed for days, but was to frightened to let us near him. Finally he wondered inside our garage & we shut the door before he could get out. He was a small kitten then. He spent the next month living in our Xmas tree. Thus the name Monkey. He is the reason we can no longer have a Xmas tree. Monkey is not really our cat. He is kinda like the pet cat of our other two cats. They play with him & love him. We feed him. He occasionally will want to be loved, but it is rare & brief.
