… for my hat. Which I lost this morning and am distinctly unhappy about. It was my very favourite and particularly special. This should really be a sad bokeh friday post but it’s Thursday so it is good it is greeny in there somewhere. At least curious giraffe here looks pretty nice as he goes searching. Actually, it’s a good point. Why aren’t giraffes used in missing person searches more often? Or for rescuing kittens out of trees? Fighting fires in tall buildings? Surely we are underusing our longest-necked animal brethren? I shall call the zoo and ask.

Look closely. Is my hat there?

We spotted this little kitty… er… actually we HEARD this little kitty crying from underneath one of the trucks at the local auction, and we quickly coaxed him out from underneath the truck and into Cassi’s arms. :-)

Apparently he had ridden to the auction underneath someone’s truck, and was terrified to jump down after that awful ride. :-(

We ended up taking him home and releasing him in the neighborhood. We’d have kept him if we were allowed to have pets, but at least he’s got a better shot here, around us, than he would have in the auction parking lot. :-)

Playing around with the ViewSonic 3D camcorder / camera again… this time at Mike Brandly’s auction in Groveport, OH.

This time I auto-corrected the photos first, adjusted the depth, and then saved as "ghost reduced" color anaglyphs.
